A 38-year-old local woman has been accused of stealing 28-thousand dollars from Anderson Camp in Eden. Andrea Coates is facing felony grand theft. According to reports, Coates said she allegedly used the money to pay for bills.

Rich said the world is a safer place today without Yahya Sinwar. The region cannot move forward without the elimination of Hamas as a military entity.

A career day from Jack Wagner and a big third quarter lifted the No. 13 Idaho Vandals to a 34-29 win over Cal Poly Saturday afternoon at the Kibbie Dome. Idaho is back in the Dome next week against Eastern Washington Saturday evening at 6 p.m. in the battle for the Che-Scow Cup.
The CSI Men’s Soccer Club fell to the #2 team in the country Salt Lake Saturday afternoon 5-1. Southern Idaho now shifts their focus to their final two regular season matches of the year next week as they will square off with USU-Eastern and Snow College.
The CSI Women’s Soccer Club fell to #9 Salt Lake CC for the second time this season, 2-0 on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles now gear up for their final week of the regular season, as they will take on USU-Eastern and Snow College next week at home!
Nine Magic Valley soccer squads qualified for the Idaho state tournament and received their path to a trophy as the Idaho High School Activities Association released brackets Sunday morning. Canyon Ridge, boys and girls from Wood River, Both boys and girls from Twin Falls, Wendell, boys and girls from The Sun Valley Community School and the Girls from Buhl.
From local high school football, Kimberly took the win over Buhl, 42 to 7. Twin Falls downed Burley 33 to 7. It was Jerome 21 over Caldwell 0. Carey told Shoshone no with a score of 50 to 8. It was Declo 33 Malad 6. Filer bested Mountain Home 27 to 15. Gooding over Wood River 34 to 13. Hagerman over Butte County 30 to 14 and Hansen 64 Camas County 14. Glenns Ferry 40 Oakley 14. Castleford 40 Richfield 14. It took overtime for Wendell to down Soda Springs 35 to 33. Valley for the win over Raft River 48 to 8.
In district volleyball Declo downed Wendell 3 to 0. Filer said no to Buhl 3 to 0. Lighthouse Christian told Glenns Ferry no 3 to 0. It was Hagerman 3 Murtaugh 2. The Sun Valley Community school over Shoshone 3 to 1 and Oakely 3 Raft River 1. Valley over Lighthouse Christian 3 to 0. Hansen defeated Castleford 3 to 2. Richfield outlasted Camas County 3 to 0. Kimberly 3 Gooding 0.
On today’s volleyball schedule as the district tournament continues, Hansen travels to Carey. Minico to twin Falls, Burley to Wood River. Richfield and Dietrich will meet in Carey.
The BLM and the River Management society are teaming up to make it easier to plan your next Idaho river trip. Recreationalists are encouraged to visit the National rivers project online where they will find nearly 50 Idaho river trips and recently added 19 segments managed by the BLM. BLM Idaho manages 312 miles along 16 congressionally designated Wild & Scenic Rivers, which is second only to Oregon in the number of Wild & Scenic Rivers.
