🕵️‍♂️ Missing Fruitland Boy Case

Newly released court documents reveal disturbing details in the case of missing Fruitland boy Michael Vaughan. A Probable Cause Affidavit states that Stacey Wondra told police multiple members of his household were involved in the child’s abduction and death. Cadaver dogs later alerted in the Wondras’ backyard, where detectives also found disturbed soil.


✈️ Magic Valley Airport Expands Air Service

Magic Valley Regional Airport is expanding air service. Beginning March 8th, Delta Connection operated by SkyWest will add a third daily flight between Twin Falls and Salt Lake City using the upgraded CRJ550 aircraft.


🚨 Fatal Wrong-Way Crash on I-84

Idaho State Police are investigating a deadly wrong-way crash on I-84 near Mountain Home early yesterday. A Dodge Ram driving east in the westbound lanes struck a semi head-on, causing both vehicles to erupt in flames. The 35-year-old Texas driver died at the scene. The semi driver, from California, was flown to a hospital. Westbound lanes were blocked for six and a half hours, with traffic slowed throughout the day.


⚖️ Twin Falls Man Sentenced for Assaulting Child

A Twin Falls man, 35-year-old Joseph Galan, has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl in a Boise fast-food play area. Galan fled to Oregon before later turning himself in.


🔫 Kimberly Shooting Suspect Re-Arrested

A Kimberly shooting suspect is back in jail, accused of intimidating a key witness. Nineteen-year-old Andrew Snyder Thorstad—already charged with grand theft and destruction of evidence in the June 12 shooting death of Chris DeQuintanarro at Friendly Village Mobile Home Park—now faces a felony intimidation charge after allegedly threatening a witness in a Twin Falls parking lot.


🏔️ Custer County Murder Sentencing

A Custer County man, 70-year-old Alan Bruce, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after admitting to killing Patrick Shelton last May and destroying the remains. Bruce entered an Alford plea, but the judge denied his attempt to withdraw it.


💼 Commercial Sex Case Sentencing in Twin Falls

A Twin Falls man has been sentenced in a commercial sex case involving two massage parlors on Addison Avenue. Sixty-three-year-old Salon Kahn received three to ten years on four felony counts after entering an Alford plea. Prosecutors say multiple women were brought to southern Idaho and exploited for profit, with nearly $70,000 seized during the investigation.

🦅 CSI Cheer Falls to Salt Lake

The CSI Cheer Team went head-to-head with Salt Lake Community College yesterday, falling 12–5. The Golden Eagles, competing as an all-women’s team, scored in creative pyramids, basket toss, and tumbling, but Salt Lake claimed the final compulsory routine. CSI competes again December 2nd at Salt Lake against the Bruins and Snow College.


🏈 Boise State’s Mason Hutton Named Semifinalist

Boise State long snapper Mason Hutton has been named a semifinalist for the Patrick Mannelly Award, honoring the nation’s top long snapper. Hutton has played in all 52 games since 2022 and is having his best season yet. Three finalists will be announced November 24, with the winner revealed December 13 in Chicago.


🏀 Boise State Men Host Wichita State

Boise State men’s basketball hosts Wichita State tonight at Extra Mile Arena for the programs’ first-ever meeting. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. The Broncos are 87–9 in home nonconference play under Leon Rice and currently feature five players averaging double figures. Newcomers are contributing nearly 42 points per game. Boise State looks to close its five-game homestand with another win.


🏀 Boise State Women on the Road at Colorado

The Boise State women hit the road for the first time this season, facing Colorado tonight at 7 p.m. The Broncos are 3–0 after a 91–77 win over UC Davis, highlighted by career highs from Dani Bayes with 31 points and Tatum Thompson with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Colorado enters at 2–1, with the all-time series tied 1–1.
