  • The Filer Cats handed the Twin Falls Cowboys their first loss of the season in Game 1, 8-4, with 12 strikeouts from the mound. But the Cowboys roared back in Game 2, winning 20-2 in four innings behind Kaden Black’s nine-strikeout complete game.
  • Gooding B swept the Hub City Hitmen—taking Game 1, 16-13, after a big rally, and Game 2, 10-7. Evan Mendoza led Gooding with three hits and three RBIs.
  • Kimberly Dogs B stayed perfect, beating the Twin Falls Hawks 7-1 in Game 1, then sealing a doubleheader sweep 5-3 in extra innings. Colt Taylor and Brody O’Toole paced the Dogs’ offense.
  • The Burley Green Sox improved to 8-0, dominating the Buhl Tribe with wins of 14-3 and 19-9—both by mercy rule. Landen Chum led Burley with six total hits on the day.

🐴 High School Rodeo Finals
The Idaho High School Finals Rodeo is winding down, and several local riders are heading to nationals! Jerome’s Mackenzie Posey won the girls cutting title, with Castleford’s Reata Severe taking second. On the boys side, Kimberly’s Rhett Brackett and Wesley Zebarth also punched their tickets. Finals wrap up tomorrow in Pocatello.

📺 Boise State Launches Bronco Studios
Boise State is launching Bronco Studios this August, a new in-house media platform for live and on-demand shows spotlighting Bronco Athletics.
