🚔 TWIN FALLS DRUG TRAFFICKER SENTENCED
40-year-old Elisha Gabrielle Ortiz of Twin Falls has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine. Investigators say she sold drugs in the Magic Valley and was later found with about two pounds of meth and 1,200 fentanyl pills in a storage unit. Ortiz will also serve five years of supervised release after prison.
📸 HIDDEN CAMERA CASE LEADS TO FELONY CHARGES
A Twin Falls man is under arrest, accused of secretly recording and exploiting a minor. Police say 35-year-old Justin Dunlap admitted to hiding cameras and recording explicit videos. He now faces nine felony charges and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 24.

✈️ MEASLES EXPOSURE AT BOISE AIRPORT
Idaho health officials are warning of a possible measles exposure at the Boise Airport on March 29. A person with measles was in the airport for several hours, and officials are contacting those who may have been exposed. Measles is highly contagious, and cases are rising, with Idaho reporting 23 infections since last year, mostly in unvaccinated individuals.

🚱 HANSEN BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED
The city of Hansen has issued a boil-water advisory after a pressure drop during a water line installation. Residents on several streets are urged to boil water for at least one minute or use bottled water. The issue is expected to be fixed within 72 hours.

In Magic Valley softball—Twin Falls and Burley split a doubleheader, Burley took game one 11 to 7, but Twin Falls bounced back to win game two 14 to 8. Burley now heads to Mountain Home Tuesday. Jerome also split with Wood River—dropping game one 12 to 7, but walking it off in game two 12 to 11, with Kourtney Harris delivering a clutch double to seal it. Elsewhere, Minico split with Mountain Home—falling 5 to nothing, then bouncing back big 14 to 1.

Glenns Ferry hosts its Wood Bat Tournament with teams from all over the state hitting the field throughout the day. Tomorrow keeps things rolling with Rigby at Canyon Ridge, Mountain Home at Minico, Jerome on the road at Burley, and Twin Falls traveling to Wood River. Tournament play continues in Glenns Ferry, with additional games also scheduled in Wendell.

Saturday, tournament play continues in Glenns Ferry with another packed slate of games.

🏃 STRONG LOCAL FINISH AT ANGIE WYATT INVITE
Strong showing for Magic Valley teams at the Angie Wyatt Invite in Filer—Snake River swept the team titles, with Gooding and Filer finishing top three for the boys, while Filer and Kimberly placed second and third for the girls. Standout performances included multiple personal records from Snake River and big wins from Filer and Gooding athletes.

⚾ CSI OPENS SERIES WITH WIN
The College of Southern Idaho baseball team opened its series with a 7 to 5 win over USU Eastern. Cade Burnham led the way with a homer and three RBI, while Grayson Riding picked up the win and Kaleb Doty earned the save. CSI, now 34 and 8, continues the series with a doubleheader today.
