Sports 4/9/24


In local high school softball games from yesterday, in a double header, Century defeated Minico in both games 4 to 1 and 14 to 13.  In one baseball game, Lighthouse Christian defeated Glenns Ferry 15 to 5. 



On today’s baseball schedule, Mountain Home will travel to Minico, Buhl will visit Gooding, Kimberly travels to Marsh Valley and Burley will host Elko Nevada.  Jerome Goes to Twin Falls an Wood River will travel to Canyon Ridge. 



As far as Softball goes, Burley travels to Mountain Home.  Bonneville will visit Minico, Buhl goes to Filer, Gooding to Kimberly, Declo to Wendell and Wood River to Canyon Ridge.

Burley High school made it official.  Michael Hill will be the new boys basketball coach.  He has coached JV basketball and been assistant varsity coach for over 10 years since being in Burley in 2008.



The CSI Softball team is climbing in the national polls.  The eagles with a 29 and 9 season so far, is 11th ranked in the country and as of yesterday move up two spots in the NJCAA poll.
