The Twin Falls Police department spent the night investigating a late night shooting.  Multiple agencies were on scene of the incident in the 1300 block of Targhee drive just before 11 last night.  Police say they were on the scene with an individual when shots were fired.

Idaho State Police say they are expecting heavy traffic over the thanksgiving weekend.  Troopers will be out in force all weekend helping those who need assistance and looking for those who are driving impaired.

Falling crude oil prices could relieve some pain at the pump for Idaho drivers, but according to AAA, the effect may be tempered by a spike in demand as 53.4 million Americans set out on a Thanksgiving vacation. Crude oil, which makes up half the price of finished gasoline, dropped as low as $76 per barrel late last week, after staying at or above the $80 mark since mid-October.

Idaho Gov. Brad Little and the state’s top health official in what is likely their last coronavirus town hall of the year urged residents to get vaccinated or get the booster shot if they’re eligible.  Yesterday Little and Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Director Dave Jepsen expressed thanks that there are effective vaccines available and for the efforts of health care workers nearly two years into the coronavirus pandemic.

St. Luke employees are being reminded of the vaccine mandate that is back in effect for the system.  Officials say over a thousand have received religious or medical exemptions.  Just over a half percent are currently non-compliant.

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission has designated a chronic wasting disease management zone in north-central Idaho, allowing hunts to kill up to 1,000 deer to determine the extent of the disease.  The decision Monday allows Fish and Game Director Ed Schriever to establish the emergency hunts that will target a mix of whitetails and mule deer of both sexes.

Idaho State Police are asking for the public's help tracking down a man from Montana who went missing after driving into Idaho earlier this month.  71 year old Michael Edward Lopez of Missoula was last heard from the morning of Nov. 10.   His phone last pinged around noon that day near Challis.
